Our kennel’s foundation, Angel was our beloved companion, our first show dog, dam of our Michael and Leda, and grand-dam to our Nellie and Beau.  

Angel exemplified the qualities of the best English Setters.

Her empathy, gentle nature, beauty and grace improved the quality of our lives and of the many friends she made everywhere she went, at dog shows, on family trips, walks in the park, and in her role as a therapy dog.

For more than 9 years of her life, Angel was a Delta Society registered therapy dog visiting children and adults at a domestic violence shelter, youth activity center, hospital, assisted living facility, and as a Reading Education Assistance Dog helping schoolchildren learn to enjoy reading.

Angel also earned a Rally Obedience title as a senior dog. She found rally exercises fun and enjoyed showing off her skills to anyone who would watch.
