Intelligent and high-spirited, Nellie loves attention. She is as lovely as her legendary namesake. Nellie enjoys dog shows, the outdoors, meeting new people, and virtually any activity where she can meet and greet people.  She has a sweet and lively personality and is a natural retriever.

Nellie is a registered therapy dog and a Reading Education Assistance Dog working with children and adults – her best friends are the families at the long term homeless shelter. She loves talking to young people, and even had all her spots counted.  She was a blood donor for three years.  Nellie shows in Conformation and Juniors and would like to learn Rally.
